The Raiders rallied past the Saints 35 to 27, improving to 3 and 0 after overcoming an 11 point second half deficit.

The Las Vegas Raiders remained undefeated after rallying from a double-digit deficit to defeat the New Orleans Saints 35-27 on Sunday, improving to 3-0 at the start of the 2026 NFL season.

Las Vegas entered the game with victories in its first two contests and faced a Saints team playing its home opener at Caesars Superdome. New Orleans built a lead during the game, but the Raiders responded strongly in the second half and ultimately took control during the fourth quarter.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins played a central role in the comeback, throwing three touchdown passes as Las Vegas recovered from an 11-point second-half deficit. The Raiders also forced or benefited from four New Orleans turnovers in the fourth quarter, creating additional opportunities that helped turn the game in their favor.

One of the most closely watched developments was the return of tight end Brock Bowers. After missing time because of a knee injury, Bowers returned to the lineup and immediately became an important part of the Raiders' offensive attack. His availability gave Cousins another major receiving option and helped strengthen the passing game.

The Raiders' ability to respond after falling behind was one of the most significant elements of the game. Rather than allowing the early deficit to determine the outcome, Las Vegas continued to produce offensive opportunities while its defense generated the turnovers needed to regain momentum.

The result extended the Raiders' perfect start and gave them three victories in their opening three games. The team had already defeated the Los Angeles Chargers before Sunday's road win, making the New Orleans comeback another important early-season result.

Bowers' return was particularly relevant because the Raiders had spent the week monitoring his status. His presence helped provide additional balance to an offense led by Cousins, while the team's defensive performance became increasingly important as New Orleans attempted to protect its lead.

The Saints' fourth-quarter turnovers ultimately became a major turning point. Possession changes are particularly valuable in a close NFL game because they provide the opposing offense with opportunities while simultaneously removing chances from the team trying to protect a lead.

Las Vegas converted those opportunities into points and finished the comeback with a 35-27 victory. The Raiders' performance also demonstrated how quickly an NFL game can change when a team combines offensive production with defensive pressure.

The unbeaten start gives Las Vegas an early position of significance in the AFC, although three games remain only the beginning of a long regular season. The Raiders will still face stronger tests as the schedule progresses, but the opening stretch has provided a clear statistical result: the team has won all three of its games.

For fans following the Raiders, the return of Bowers and the performance of Cousins provide additional storylines alongside the team's perfect record. Bowers' availability gives the offense another key option, while Cousins has helped guide the team through the opening portion of the season.

The 35-27 victory also demonstrated the importance of resilience in a sport where a lead can disappear quickly. Las Vegas did not need to dominate every quarter to win; instead, it needed to respond when the game shifted and capitalize when opportunities emerged.

The Raiders now leave New Orleans with a 3-0 record and another road victory. The comeback provides the latest chapter in an undefeated opening stretch that has placed the Las Vegas team among the NFL's early-season unbeaten clubs.
