Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Helicopter Travel Causes Local Disturbance
Action star Jason Statham and his fiancée, model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, have found themselves at the center of a neighborhood dispute in their affluent South London community due to their unusual transportation choices.
Neighborhood Concerns Over Noisy Travel
According to reports from The Daily Mail, the couple frequently opts for helicopter travel over conventional vehicles. While this method may be faster, it has led to significant noise complaints from their neighbors.
Impact on Local Residents and Wildlife
The couple’s choice of transportation has reportedly disturbed both residents and local wildlife. Their helicopter frequently takes off and lands in a nearby playing field, raising safety concerns among local horseback riders. A resident described an incident where a helicopter’s low altitude startled two horses during a landing. “The helicopter flew quite low over a riding ground and spooked two horses which were out at the time,” the witness recounted.
Apologies and Ongoing Disturbances
Eyewitnesses noted that the helicopter’s pilot appeared to genuinely apologize after the incident, recognizing the potential danger. “After landing, the pilot ran across the field to say sorry,” the resident explained. “But if a horse bolts with a 6-year-old on it, it won’t be pretty.”
The couple was spotted using the helicopter again the next day, and nearby residents reported the pilot seemed to take care to avoid flying too close to the riding school. Nevertheless, complaints about the noise continue.
Resident Reactions
Local residents expressed their frustrations about the helicopter’s frequent appearances. One neighbor noted, “It flies low over our houses and it’s very loud. It’s not something we appreciate.” Another added, “There’s a reason we chose to live far out from Heathrow or City airports.”
Awaiting Response
Despite the growing concerns from residents, The Sun reached out to Statham and Huntington-Whiteley for comments, but there has been no response at this time.
