Munn explained the dynamics of her character’s relationship, stating, “She wants something so much more from him than he’s willing to give and their only connection is through sex.” With the importance of intimate scenes for their relationship’s portrayal, Munn admitted to feeling apprehensive due to her recent health struggles. “I was really nervous about doing any sex scenes because I have a lot of scars,” she shared, highlighting both visible and concealed scars resulting from her treatment.

Despite her initial trepidation, Munn credits her co-star Jon Hamm and the series’ intimacy coordinator for assisting her in overcoming her insecurities during filming. Reflecting on her progress, she noted, “I did feel insecure, but each time I did it, I felt better.”
